Our extra-curricular activities focus on helping our students learn and practice Spanish in a more informal and fun way. They are part of the program we offer and complete the process by giving the students an opportunity to practice the language learned in class in real situations. All activities are organized by our coordinator with the help of the academic department and are an affordable addition to our students’ schedule.
The weekend trips we offer enable our students to explore all the wonderful areas outside of the city. They are organized by experienced travel companies and are guided by a member of our staff to make sure students are provided with the best service and are able to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Because we know that students want flexibility with their schedules, we organize two full-weekend trips and two one-day excursions per month. The most popular activities we organize include:Trekking and white-water rafting in the Andes, horse back riding, surf trips, wine tours by train (Tren del Vino),visits to Valparaíso, Maitencillo, La Serena, Pucón, hot spring weekends, etc.

Favorite Chilean town: Valparaiso. It's like a Bohemian town, really laid back, beautiful next to the sea and you can surf.
Memorable Quote: Classes here are intensive but I didn't feel like they were going too fast. I could ask all the questions I want.
Virginie Chantry Belgium It's been more than a pleisure studying en La Escuela Fronteras. There are so many Spanish schools in Santiago that it is always difficult to choose. I don't regret at all my choice. I'm learning so much with my teacher, Natalia. She's great and she won't let you quit even if you feel like your spanish is miserable! LOL. She's really supporting and she congratulates you for your work! Moreover, the members of the staff are really friendly and always available for a chat in Spanish or English, or any questions you might think of... So if you are still hesitating, well you shouldn't: debes estudiar el espanol en la escuela fronteras... No vas a lamentarlo!
