Why should I study Spanish? PDF Print E-mail
Today, 400 million people speak Spanish as their mother tongue making it one of the top three most-spoken languages by native speakers in the world. It is also the official language in 20 countries and an official language in the United Nations, the European Union, the Organization of American States and the Latin Union.


At Escuela Fronteras, we believe that learning Spanish is an important life-skill that can also be a lot of fun. Our programs give priority to interaction with locals and experiencing native culture; turning the immersion process into a life-changing experience. The combination of language classes, housing with local families and varied activities help students achieve the gift of communication.

We care for the well-being and comfort of our students; therefore we offer the following services as part of our immersion program:
  • Orientation Lunch and city tour
  • Computer lab access: Computers and WIFI
  • 5-minute arrival call worldwide (to tell your loved ones you arrived safely)
  • At least one free activity at the school per week
  • Graduation lunch every Friday
  • Library and media center
  • Weekly help sessions
  • Authentic course books and CDs (no photocopies)
  • Flexible programs ( evenings, saturdays and in your office/home courses)
  • Cell phone rental (to be connected to your family, the school and friends 24/7)
