Educational Focus: I enjoy teaching Spanish literature and culture.
Chile: I like the people, the music, the culture and the friendliness that there is everywhere. I can walk through the streets and feel perfectly happy as I do it. I feel part of the city - I just feel at home.
Escuela Fronteras: My week here has been the busiest I've had in a long time. I have spoken Spanish for 40 year now and I've learned a lot.
Spanish Background: I did a semester abroad in Mexico doing a Spanish Immersion course.
Favorite Chilean Thing: I love the bread here. There is fresh, hot bread in like every grocery store here. You just walk in and it's streaming hot ready to take home. It's amazing.
Memorable Quote: The three weeks I've be here have been equivalent to three months I spent in Guadalajara Mexico learning Spanish.
Chile: My first time to Chile was with a Faculty Led program. We hiked the Andes Mountains and visited the Mapuche Indians. The community was so sweet and so wonderful. That was a really memorable trip!
Escuela Fronteras: We sent over 20 students for a three week winter session. They all had a phenomenal time and did very well academically.
Memorable Quote: Chile is a place that I would love to go back to.
Interests: My school here in Chile has a lot of basketball programs and I like to play tennis and run with my brother and father.
Favorite Slang: I like bacan, it means "cool" and everyone uses it.
Memorable Quote: At Escuela Fronteras it's a lot better becuase at my [middle] school I learn things, but I don't understandy why. Here you learn the reasons why.
Cassi O'Sullivan USA This school is amazing! Everyone who works at EFronteras wants to help and is eager to help. I had a wonderful time learning Spanish and I wouldn't change it for anything. Miss everyone!
