Welcome to the blogs of Escuela Fronteras!
This is where we share a little bit about Santiago, the customs of Chile, helpful hints and some Spanish tutoring as well. The audio blog section is where we interview our students, teachers and visiting university staff.

Hello everybody! Welcome to my Blog! Want to find out how a German Muesli-chica experiences and most of all survives in Santiago? Yeah, I’d be curious to find that out, too. We will – together! :-)
I love to meet people, get to know new places & cultures (that’s how I ended up in Chile). Standing still is not really for me, I used to work for a radio station & radio people act fast and talk even faster. So lets get started! |

| Hello everyone! I am Alejandra, the Director of Escuela Fronteras. I was born in Santiago de Chile but I have worked and studied abroad a couple of times. I was an ESL teacher for a while but I found out a few years ago that my passion was Spanish and International Education. I love going out and meeting people from all over the world. I am learning German right now, which is a sort of challenge but it is still a lot of fun! I am into languages, wine, music, movies and dancing so let me know if you need any info about Santiago and what to do for fun. Here are a few ideas. I hope they help! |

After only two visits to Chile I was hooked! I knew I wanted to live in a Latin country & learn Spanish but I never felt safe and secure until Chile. Charming people, a modern country & a stable government - Chile has the perfect mix, including amazing mountains, deserts & untouched wilderness.
I knew that acclimating to a new culture would not be easy so I dedicate this column to helping others meld into the wonderful country I now call home. |

Matt Vermeer UK What a great school! We simply can not fault them! From first contact with Ale and through until we left, we received a personal and professional response from all the staff at Escuela Fronteras. I would recommend this school to anyone really interested in learning Spanish and making close friends in Santiago. Thank you. We will see you again!
